SCANEX
A self-hosted software package for film-to-digital workflows. SFTP ingest, LiveView previews, on-prem AI for analysis, organization, and curation.
Built around the idea that a photographer’s work should not have to leave their own infrastructure to be processed and delivered. Scanex is the plumbing: it moves bytes off scanners onto storage, runs the AI passes, presents real-time previews, and ships finished results back — all on hardware the operator controls.
An Elixir umbrella application running on a private GPU fleet in Long Island, NY. Authored, maintained, and operated by Taylor Sperring.

Not a SaaS. Not for sale. An operator’s tool, built for the work it serves — first the photography, then the lab, then everything that grew out of that. The code is private; the philosophy is public.
